What we say:

This is not just a regular monitor - this is a statement of style. It looks great on your office or home desk, even before you've switched it on. It looks good but it performs as well. A crisp, crystal clear picture makes it perfect for computing uses including applications, images, movies and games. Take into account the reduction in price for these units and it makes it a no-brainer, rarely can you find something to quench your desire and satisfy the 'sensible voice' in your head! Depending on what you intend using it for, consider stretching to the 240HD or 260HD but all of these units offer great value for money.

In general, the Samsung Touch T220HD monitor scores very highly. Positive comments include the brightness and clarity when used for both PC applications, Game Consoles and TV. In comparision to competitors, it is rated highly. The sound quality, although lacking slightly in bass seems to satisfy most people considering the price. If used with external speakers this is not an issue whatsoever. The fact that the unit is supplied with a wide range of connectors is also praised.

What's to like:
- Component input allows connecting older devices without HDMI.
- 2 HDMI ports
- Input source button cycles through only ports that are plugged in.
- digital TV tuner is excellent.
- Build in speaker/headphone jack/audio out port. Speakers are not great, but having them means you don't need extra adaptors to capture the audio from HDMI/component devices.
- Remote control. OSD navigation is so much easier and more intuitive with it. And this is really useful when turning the unit on/off, making this a true LCD TV.
- Has 16:9 aspect ratio option so that pictures don't have to be stretched to full screen.
- Unit is very light, only 13 lb.
- Picture is bright and clear, no dead pixel for me.
- Screen is matte, not glossy.
